| Awarded to the individual (aged 30 years or younger as at 30/09/09) who best demonstrates the achievement of 'engineering excellence' within the materials handling sector. Utilising technical knowledge, application know-how and project management skills in meeting and resolving a particular (or series of) engineering challenge(s), the recipient will have displayed a commitment not just to their duties and responsibilities but also to the development of their engineering career. The recipient will need to provide evidence of the following: |

| Awarded for the most innovative materials handling product, system or service (new or redeveloped) introduced onto the market within the last 12 months. Detailing its precise technical configuration, the recipient will need to provide evidence of the following: |

| Awarded to a product, system or service (provided by a manufacturer, contractor and/or end user) in recognition of the positive contribution that a materials handling application is providing (actual or projected) to the energy efficiency/environmental footprint of a manufacturing or distribution business. Detailing the specific application requirements and the overall energy savings secured, the recipient(s) will need to provide evidence of the following: |
- Reason for installation
- Type of product, system or service installed
- The benefits that have been provided as a result of the installation

| Awarded to the company (manufacturer, contractor and/or end-user) in recognition of the successful delivery of a difficult, complex or otherwise challenging materials handling installation/solution. Detailing the positive effect the overall system has had, the recipient(s) will need to provide evidence of the following: |

- The benefits that have been provided as a result of the installation
- NB: Nominations are invited for projects valued at over £1million and projects valued at under £1million
